Through her leadership, the company creates and delivers sustainable site and landscape plans, ventures beyond design to implementation and maintenance for long-term results, and works as a team player on projects large and small. Patti has been involved in local storm water initiatives from Johnson County to Kansas City, Missouri to the Metro region, which include the establishment of Best Management Practices for storm water control and riparian corridor protection.
Patti makes natural resources considerations the foundation for creative comprehensive and site planning. She is able to bring the public along through honest and open involvement in the process and providing highly graphic and desirable end products, often incorporating parks and trails as a way to help preserve natural resource areas. Patti Banks took an additional step in her commitment to environmentally responsible design. She is LEED™ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited, the first landscape architect with such certification in the Kansas City area. LEED™ Accredited Professionals are experienced development professionals who have demonstrated their knowledge of integrated design and their capacity to facilitate the LEED™ certification process.
